Lanfranco Pellesi is an Assistant Professor at the University of Southern Denmark. He specializes in clinical pharmacology and neuroscience, with a research focus on the pathophysiological mechanisms of pain and headache disorders. His work integrates translational medicine, bridging preclinical models with clinical trials to identify novel therapeutic targets for migraine and cluster headaches. Dr. Pellesi has an extensive background in clinical trial investigations, having contributed to Phase 2 and Phase 3 studies on anti-CGRP monoclonal antibodies and investigator-initiated trials targeting VIP, PACAP, and KATP receptors. Beyond research, he is actively involved in medical education and AI-assisted learning models, leading flipped classroom experiences and problem-based learning initiatives.
