Biography

Guangyu Guo, MD/PhD, Master's supervisor, is an attending physician specializing in neurovascular diseases and spatial omics research with extensive experience in the field. He completed his M.D. and Ph.D. through an integrated training program at Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and subsequently joined the Clinical Medicine Postdoctoral Research Station at Zhengzhou University. During his postdoctoral training, he focused on neuroinflammation and neural functional repair in cerebrovascular diseases.

Dr. Guo serves as a committee member of the Neurodegenerative Diseases Branch of the Chinese Association of Geriatric Health and as a Youth Editorial Board Member of Brain Hemorrhage. He is the principal investigator of a National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Youth Fund Project and a Henan Provincial Joint Construction Medical Science and Technology Research Program. His research interests include the inflammatory mechanisms and functional recovery in cerebrovascular diseases and the development of spatial omics technologies for high-throughput data interpretation.

Dr. Guo has published more than 10 peer-reviewed SCI papers as the first or corresponding author. His work has made significant contributions to understanding the inflammatory injury and neural repair mechanisms in stroke and related cerebrovascular disorders. In addition to his scientific achievements, Dr. Guo actively contributes to academic reviews and evaluations, furthering advancements in neurovascular research and omics technologies.
