Biography

    Feng Liu is an Associate Professor specializing in genetic-environment-brain imaging research with extensive experience in the field. He received his Ph.D. from the School of Life Science and Technology, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, and subsequently joined the Department of Radiology and Tianjin Key Laboratory of Functional Imaging at Tianjin Medical University General Hospital. He was awarded the “National Construction High-Level University Public Graduate Program” scholarship from the China Scholarship Council, supporting his joint training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

    Dr. Liu has received numerous awards, including two First Prizes and one Second Prize in the Hunan Medical Science and Technology Awards, the Ministry of Education's Doctoral Academic Newcomer Award, and the First Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award from the China Electronics Society. He has also been selected for prestigious programs such as the Tianjin “131” Innovation Talent Training Project, Tianjin Medical University’s Outstanding Teacher Development Program, and the New Century Talent Program. Additionally, he serves as a peer reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation of China and as an expert evaluator for academic and technological projects in several provinces.

    Dr. Liu has published over 200 peer-reviewed SCI papers in journals such as Nature Communications, Molecular Psychiatry, Neuropsychopharmacology, Psychological Medicine, and NeuroImage. Of these, more than 60 were published as first or corresponding author. His work has been cited over 8,000 times, with an H-index of 50. His publications include one ESI Hot Paper, five ESI Highly Cited Papers, and four cover articles. He also holds two granted patents.
